Wedding basket made of woven and coiled plant fibre. Dyed fibres woven together to make a zigzagging pattern. The goblet-shaped base (part a) has a red rim, four straps stitched vertically, each with three lines of cowrie shells, and four tassels with cowries hanging from each strap. The foot of the base is lined with skin with a single row of cowries stitched on, and incorporates teal and purple into the design. The lid (part b) is conical with a cylindrical upper section and a red rim.
