Blade ?2847/180

Stone blade, or possibly pendant. The object is long and thin with slightly bulging sides, one end an asymmetrical triangle, the other blunt. Two tiny holes are bored through the edges of the object close to the triangular end. The top of the blade has a partial ‘x’ shape carved into it, while the bottom has a wide ridge carved along its length.

Stone adze. Object is triangular, with a blunt point widening to a sharp rounded blade. In profile, the adze is somewhat thick and convex on top and bottom. At the pointed end the stone is rough and unprocessed, while toward the blade the body has a smooth finish.

Stone pendant in the shape of an axe head. Object is roughly rectangular in shape, with base slightly wider than the head. A face is carved into the top with two small punctures for eyes, and a long nose. The jaw line is sharply carved. Beneath are two arms bent up at the elbow to allow hands to rest on the chest. A hole is bored laterally though the pendant at shoulder level. The bottom of the object is slightly flaked into a blade. The rear of the pendant is undecorated.

Stone weapon. The object is rectangular with rounded corners, and all edges as well as top and bottom planes curve slightly outward. The stone is porous, coloured a light brown inside with a grey cortex. The sides are more pocked than the planes.

A sharp face protrudes from the side, possibly representing a bird, with a sharp snout and two round eyes. Two indentations flank the face. The face, head and neck area have been painted orange and yellow. A large hole is carved through the centre of the mace, slightly narrower at its centre point and flaring toward each end.
