Clay ocarina is composed of two nearly identical sides connected at top and bottom with a thin neck of clay. Each side has a long neck with a wider body, topped by a protruding nub. A wide incision at the mouth separates airflow into two chambers (windways), and each side of the instrument has its own windcutter beneath. Each also has a single pitch hole at the opposite end from the mouthpiece. The top of the ocarina is decorated with orange and dark brown pigment in circles and lines. The bottom is undecorated and two tiny nubs serve as legs.

Clay ocarina. The squat, bulbous body is topped by a conical protrusion which contains a diagonally bored hole (windway), beneath which is a large opening (windcutter) into the hollow body of the instrument. A smaller cone is situated on the bottom of the ocarina, also with a hole bored from the top into the body. Three small perforations sit on the surface of the object but do not pierce through. The ocarina is decorated with dark brown and orange pigments in symmetrical line patterns.

Clay ocarina in the shape of an animal. The rounded body of the instrument has a protruding face with a round nose and large eyes set high on the head. The mouth and a large hole under the chin (the windcutter) both open into the hollow chamber of the body. On the back of the creature is a narrow bump with a hole bored through, possibly a necklace ring, and behind this are four pitch holes. The creature has four coil legs that curl slightly on the torso and become small feet that somewhat support the ocarina.

Clay ocarina has a rounded, bulbous body, with the mouthpiece set low and containing a windway with a windcutter below. The instrument has two conical legs, above which emerges a figure with protruding arms, head and face. Below the chin is a thick rounded curve, decorated with a slightly protruding and incised coil of clay, that serves as a necklace ring. On the top of the instrument four pitch holes have been bored through to the ocarina’s hollow inner chamber. The instrument is decorated across the top with incised lines and circles.

Clay ocarina. The instrument is irregular in shape, with three round, connected globes, beneath which is a group of coils. Two of the globes have two pitch holes each, one on either side, while the third has a larger round opening with a thick rim. Amongst the coils are more openings, some of which lead into the ocarina’s hollow interior, which has multiple connected chambers.

Clay ocarina. A long mouthpiece with windway and windcutter widens into a round body with a small oblong outcropping on each side and an elaborate necklace ring at the top back. Four pitch holes are bored into the top of the ocarina through to its hollow centre. The top and back are decorated with incised patterns of lines, dots and triangles. The instrument stands on three conical legs.

Pot2847/102

Painted terracotta footed pot. The body is tall and egg shaped, with a somewhat rough rim around a narrow mouth. It is painted with the image of a feathered serpent, with flowing lines, dots and patterns coloured in orange and brown and has a cream slip. The pot has a prominent foot that flares downward and is decorated with encircling lines of brown and orange. The bottom of the pot inside the foot is very round, as if continuing the egg shape of the body. The interior of the pot is undecorated.

Short dark blue jacket with open front. Rectangular piece of fabric is stitched on to form the collar. The cuffs of the sleeves have colourful appliques with vertical and horizontal stripes. The right arm seam is blue, and the left arm seam is red, and there is open space in the armpits. The sides of the jacket have red and blue trim. The back of the jacket has a flag(?) applique composed of white, red, and yellow vertical stripes. The bottom has three rows of three white buttons with pink stitching.

Apron2902/113

Long rectangular apron with very long pink ties. Apron has rectangle of orange embroidery in the centre with appliqued blue diamonds with white and pink star designs. A vertical band of black fabric with yellow, pink and white star designs runs down the centre of the orange embroidery and also borders the outside of it. The back of the apron is black. The two long pink ties flare out at the ends and are decorated with multi-coloured geometric embroidery.

Jacket2902/105

Large long dark blue jacket with open front. Collar is long and extends down to jacket waist and has a red wool trim around white and blue embroidery with snowflake designs. Jacket has light blue trim on the edges and two light blue stripes on the ends of the sleeves. There are two embroidered snowflakes in white, green, red and yellow on the shoulders. The sides are slit up to the waist and the tops of the slits have tassels with beads and pink wool. The neck of the collar also has strings of beads with red tassles which hang down the back of the jacket.
