Large round woven basket or mat. Base is flat, with edge lifting slightly. Weaving incorporates dyed grass to create thick circles at centre in green, brown and black, diamond shaped patterns in four groups of two, interspersed with sets of dotted lines along the body of the mat, and encircling lines of green and brown at the rim. The circular patterning is seen on the underside of the mat, but not the diamond or dot patterns.
Large mask. A leatherette form fits over the head, and is covered with a thick pallet of sheep wool, a long red leather face emerging at centre. Face has a trunk-like nose painted with yellow, black and white stripes, and a long red and white tongue hanging below. A moustache of sorghum sits below the nose, with bean teeth attached. Goose feathers serve as large ears along the side of the head, and long black horns emerge above. Wool pompoms and bunches of pheasant feathers top the horns, and a wreath of ribbons and paper flowers span the distance between them.
Shinje Taita or Father Sun mask. Face is long and narrow with a prominent pointed chin. The face is painted red with small black eyebrows. There are holes for eyes, nostrils and mouth. The eyes are deeply set and close together. The nose has a narrow ridge, and the mouth has pursed lips. A headband of alternating squares of green and yellow with red dots extends across the forehead with yellow feathers and a single brown feather extending up from. Two colourful feathers extend down from the headband - one on each temple. There are two holes on either side of the face with a leather strap attached for wearing.
Devil Mask. Devil has small pointed ears, two curved horns, long black hair and facial hair. Large circular eyes with red pupils point downwards under a prominent brow ridge, and a large nose carved in high relief. Mouth is opened wide with tongue hanging out. Two green snakes extend down around neck with heads meeting under the chin. A single hole drilled on either side with yellow twine attached. Back of mask is unpainted.
Cuff style silver bracelet. Design features two wolves in profile, mirrored out from centre; cross-hatched background. The bracelet is wider at the centre, becoming narrow towards the rounded ends.
Thin, coin-silver bracelet with floral design, with cross-hatching, covering entire outside surface. The bracelet has squared ends with one hook clasp that fits into a corresponding slot.
Cuff style silver bracelet. Design features split-frogs in profile, with background oxidized to give it a dark patina. The ends are rounded. HAIDA ART / Reid inscription on inside.
Wide cuff-style, sterling silver bracelet carved with a chest front design. Fine crosshatching in negative space. The ends are tapered and rounded. Artist’s inscription and date inside.
Small sculpted stone. Mottled dark green-black and light green. Shaped like a capital 'T', with two holes drilled through the smaller rectangular section. On the reverse side, the smaller section sticks out like a lip, and the main rectangular body is slightly concave.
Highly detailed drawing in black ink, on natural amate paper. Horizontal orientation on rectangular paper. The imagery depicts the migration of workers to the USA. The image covers almost the entire paper except for the outer border. Artist inscription below at left.
