Round sterling silver pendant. Design features a human like figure with raised hands and clawed feet. Fine cross-hatching on background. Artist's inscription and date on back.
Silver cast pendant. Design is a raven-finned-killer whale, in profile with upward fin and downward tail. There is a pierced hole and hanging ring attached at the top of the fin/raven head. Artist inscription on back.
Carved male figure. Doll (part a) stands on large feet, legs spread, arms slightly akimbo and held away from the body. Legs are painted white, torso black, and face red. A black fuzzy beard surrounds the chin, mouth is open with small inset shell for teeth, eyes are made of the same shell, as is a headband tied around the forehead. A necklace of tubular sections of grass hangs down the chest, and arms have woven plant fibre sleeves. A bag of netting and plant fibre is slung over the left shoulder and adhered to the wood at the handle. A loin cloth of netting with long pieces of grass at back sits around the waist. Part b is a peice of netting similar to that of the loin cloth. Part c is a small feather grouping that attaches by a hole in the doll's head.
Carved female figure. Doll (part a) stands on large feet, legs spread, arms slightly akimbo, large breasts carved at chest. Head is covered in a woven fabric to represent a hat or hair, above protruding ears, shell eyes, and a large open mouth with inset shell teeth. A thick necklace of small white and brown shells is wound several times around the neck. A skirt of grass or bark is attached around the figure’s waist. Painted white. Part b is a ring of short grass, light yellow-brown, woven into a bracelet.
Four bundles of plaited human hair. Each bundle is made of many different cords, bound by fibre or hair. The first bundle (part a) has a collector's tag attached, the second bundle (part b) has looped ends, the third (part c) has a coconut fibre tie in the middle of the bundle, with plaited hair wrapped around itself at the ends, and the fourth (part d) is a small bundle with two ties of plaited hair.
Intricately carved wooden pipe. Carved in the form of a single large human figure (tiki) wearing a headdress with raised X designs. A moveable cover for the bowl is made from the body of a reclining tiki figure, and is attached to the pipe by fibre.
Large bundle of plaited coconut husk fibre(?). Cord is loosely coiled into a bundle. (Small piece of tape with collector number adhered to cord.)
Small coconut nutshell with a hollowed-out interior. Two small holes are bored into top. A small piece of tape is adhered to the shell with the collector's number written on it.
Half of a coconut nutshell with a hollowed-out interior. The interior has red marks throughout. An 'H' is carved into the shell, and a small piece of tape is adhered to the shell with the collector's number written on it.
Small woven grass bag with a shallow pouch. The unwoven ends extend down, forming a long fringe. Some blue decorations are attached. Two long plaited cords of coconut fibre(?) are knotted to form a handle. A small piece of tape is adhered to the handle with letters 'I.F.' written on it.
