Stringed instrument (part a) and bow (part b). Instrument body is made from a gourd; the neck and fret are made of wood and plastic inserts. The gourd has two f-holes above the bridge. There are four tuning pegs below the scroll. The wooden bow has a short tip at one end, and a handle at the other. The bow appears to be strung with hide?
Runner figure. Male figure (part a) wears knee-length black tunic. The runner's left knee is bent, and he holds a small bowl in his left hand. Arms move at the shoulder, and legs at the hip. The wooden base (part b) has leather footholds and has a leaf-like design on the top.
Circular child's hat with rounded crown. Brim is red. Embroidered applique with horizontal geometric floral pattern with embroidered black lines front and side of brim. Small horizontal diamond applique around entire circumference. Four strings of white and black beads with silver bells at front-mid crown. Two tassels of red wool with white and black beads at crown top and yellow string.
Shinje Taita or Father Sun dancer figure. Male figure (part a) wears long grey tunic, beige pants and shoulder wrap, and blue wrap across the opposite shoulder. The figure wears a red mask with black eyebrows, and prominent pursed lips. Headband across top of mask alternates yellow and green squares, and has several feathers protruding upwards from. Figure wears beaded necklace, alternating from red seeds to long wooden canine teeth. Figure holds a red spear in his left hand (part c), and a yellow bell (part d) in his right. Arms move at the shoulder, and legs at the hip. The wooden base (part b) with two leather footholds.
Small carved argillite pole. Figures from base to top: bear holding frog in front, with hind feet of frog in its mouth; raven with humanoid body, wearing a very tall hat; bird (raven or eagle) with a small frog carved on each side, and with the frog's hind feet in its mouth; on the very top, crouched over the bird's head, is a small sea bear with a dorsal fin. The pole has a smooth, flat back and stands on a small, thin base. The base is rounded off on the front corners.
Cuneiform tablet mounted inside an open wood frame, so that both sides are visible. One side appears to have ten rows of inscription; the other side appears to have seven rows. The frame is about the same thickness as the tablet and covers all four of its outer edges.
Wire sculpture in the form of an overcoat-shaped veil (jangot). Made of black wire strung with blue plastic beads, and clear-white beads at the collar and cuffs. Front has cross-over design with a tie closing.
A drinking cup made of carved walrus tusk. Carved design with cross-hatching all around exterior sides.
Small round spruce root basket (part a) with lid (part b). The basket is decorated with sets of equally spaced grey-brown parallelograms encircling the side, with alternating light and dark brown arrows at centre. There is a small raised woven knob in the centre of the lid.
Large hammerhead shark figure made from reclaimed plastic fishing nets ("ghost nets"), plastic twine and rope. Figure has a partial metal frame inside.
