Beaded napkin ring. Strings of white, blue, yellow and red beads are sewn onto a beige fabric that is lined with navy blue fabric to create an expanded cross design. A frill of blue beads loops around both rims.

Belt2762/17

Blue, pink and white beaded belt with small pouch and skin tie. The long panel of cross-motif beadwork, stitched onto a strip of light brown fabric covered with a dark brown fabric, has a backing of striped red, blue and cream flannel fabric. Beaded semi-circular pouch attached to the bottom of the belt near one end has pocket shaped backing of the same flannel and is accessible only from the inside of the belt.

Front beaded panel of a sheath. White, yellow, and blue beads decorate a V-shaped panel of red wool fabric with burgundy and beige striped fabric backing and a gold satin border trim. A string of small metal beads is sewn on around the edge and two long skin strips are folded in half and stitched on to the bottom tip.

Sheath2762/28 a-b

Beaded knife sheath (part a) with carved wooden knife inside (part b). The front sheath panel of beaded fabric with a scalloped edge (lined at the back with a burgundy fabric), decorated with yellow and blue crosses and diagonal lines, is sewn to a skin panel with fringe down one side. Coils made of strings of beads wrapped around strips of fabric are at top and bottom; the top is a handle of white and blue, the bottom a long tail in yellow and blue with a red wool fabric tassel.

Strings of beads are laid out on the fabric in concentric rings to create a design on a white ground of four large red and green-bordered orange diamond shapes, four small green diamond shapes, and four red-bordered green square shapes circling around a red-bordered ring in the centre. A frill of orange beads is looped around the outer edge.

Small rectangle of tapa cloth with smaller rectangular design on one side painted brown, pale red, and black. Central floral motif with four large brown petals and four smaller black ones is set within a large diamond, with identical opposing sides, which is itself set within a circle filled with short black horizontal lines. On either side, a half circle filled with similar motifs is separated two vertical brown leaves.
