Hand coiled orange clay pottery owl. Hand painted details are mostly brown (top of beak is dark orange) over a cream slipped background. Stylized feather pattern covers base and body up to outline of spotted head. Extended vertical wings are striped both sides while the tail is striped on top and spotted on bottom. Ears are large rounded cones, slightly flattened and the split two-tone beak rises slightly from the face. Eyes are small with nine short lashes.

Lower portion of body is covered with a feather design of interlocking U-shapes, upper area is heavily spotted, and the stubby wings and tail are striped with thick lines. Beak loops down over large mouth opening with painted red rim.

Vintage hand made gourd-shaped clay owl has a painted red base and details hand painted in brownish black and red over a beige brown background. Wings and tails are small ridges on the lower part of a body covered with large oval feathers with a line in their centres. Eyes have holes for pupils, ears are small, and beak projected above a large open mouth.

Gourd-shaped, light orange clay owl piggy bank has horizontal money slot below the conical red and dark brown ears on back of head. White slipped body is covered with brownish black, hand painted, thickly outlined feathers that extend up around mouth and orange handle-like beak to bottom of large eyes. Head area is spotted and wings and tail have thin stripes on top surface, no decoration on the bottom.

Pear-shaped orange clay owl, with up a baby owl on the tip of each striped wing, has widely-spaced short legs and stands on large orange feet, each with three toes front, one back spur and a hole in the base. Body details on all three owls are hand painted in dark brown and orange over a beige slipped background. Adult owl has five large spots on the top of her head.

Multi-coloured pocket-shaped bag that is part of a girl's costume (2502/2 a-l). It has a red and green x-pattern on one side of its cord. The other side has a diamond pattern on a white background and a central design consisting of four red and green hearts radiating from a central point. They are separated by white, red, and purple sections. Each heart has and a pair of yellow and blue swirls at either side with a red, green, and yellow triangle above on a black background bordered by red.
