Hanging band from the shoulder pole of a Cotopaxi-style Corpus Christi costume. Made of two long embroidered orange silk panels sewn together back-to-back, with a turquoise cloth edging on the two long sides, and attached with long stitches to a lining made of several pieces of purple and unbleached cotton cloth. Embroidered motifs differ on each side; red, pink, blue, brown, white, orange and green flowers, a figure, and a bird on the side with yellow slk top band and pink, black, white, orange and blue flowers, three figures and a monkey on the other. At the bottom end on one side is a band of silver paper outlined with pink wool from which hang strands of green wool.

Embroidered motifs differ on each side; red, blue, brown and green flowers and hearts on one side and pink, maroon, and navy birds, stars and flowers on the other, interspersed with strips of silver covered paper.
Square-shaped woven bag (bilum) with long macrame strap of twisted grass rope. Thick strips of dyed red and purple leaf ? alternate with brown to create a diamond pattern. Into the front side are woven bunches of brightly coloured yellow, purple, green and pink grass fibres, the one at top centre being a pompom.
Long brown wood staff with teardrop shaped finial and four groupings of carved spheres on the shaft. Below the finial are a group of five, then three spheres, then a long plain mid section of the staff, then before the tip there are two more groupings of six and two spheres. Cylindrical shape narrows at bottom to blunt tip.
Headdress consisting of flat, horn-shaped curved wood head piece with long strands of dried grass hanging down in two thick bunches from grass pompoms. The plank wood headpiece, with leather and cloth head straps attached, is painted white with red dots on both sides and, on the front, has two leaping sharks facing each other and the dates 2000 and 2005.
Gourd shaped, pale orange clay owl is hand made and hand painted black and orange over a beige background. Lower portion of body is covered with a feather design of interlocking U-shapes, upper area is heavily spotted, and the stubby wings and tail are striped with thick lines. Beak loops down over large mouth opening with painted red rim.
Fat, round, gourd-shaped orange clay owl standing on short legs with overly large four-toed duck-like feet is slipped white, with details hand painted in black and orange. Feather pattern has a mosaic quality to it, wings and stubby tail are striped, and the eyes are surrounded with two bands of spots. Large loop beak is two tone and divides face.
Rounded gourd-shaped pale orange clay owl has brown scattered-leaf-like and circular feathers hand painted over a beige slipped background. Extended wings are rust red on one side, striped brown on the other. Dark beak and mouth is outlined in red and brown.
Pair of hand sewn fabric leggings with ties. Dark blue cloth has green satin backing and is embroidered in red, yellow and green. At the back of each legging, at the bottom of the slit, are two long ties of folded blue cloth and another long tie has been sewn at its mid-point onto the front near top centre.

At the top and bottom is an emblem with two birds and the words "Freedom and Justice". In the centre, above and on either side of a circular photo image of six men and the caption "THE BIG SIX OF GHANA", are the words "GHANA 50 Championing African Excellence".
