Lining the sides of an empty quadrangular patio in the centre are four huts, each with two doors and roof tiling etched into them. At the back of the two smaller ones are a row of six cattle-like animals, one with curled long horns; behind the longer huts are walls, with engraved lines and squares, and square towers at their sides.
Carved light coloured balsa wood female doll on an oval stand. The basic-outline-shaped figure with carved nose has black facial tattoo and black designs covering the front and sides of the hat, jacket and skirt; the legs, stand and back of the body are plain.
Dark brown glazed ceramic jug, with spherical body on an uneven round foot, has long pouring neck that has been fashioned into the shape of a seated musician holding a horn. A curved handle projects from the back of the figure's waist and decorative flowers and animals encircle the area below his feet.
Long narrow orange clay jug stands on three small feet and is fashioned in the shape of a female figure (chuncha or medicine woman), with the spout coming out of her back. She wears a reddish brown dress with cream coloured hood and bib with cream and dark brown decorative elements. Short arms curl around a pot and an axe at shoulder level.
Doll-sized basketry cradle. Red and light yellowish strips of bark are woven into the basketry on outer sides in a repeating step pattern. A light coloured, curved wood handle is tied on near the head of the cradle with strips of soft rawhide and several more strips are knotted on at either end and inside.
Small burnished brown and black pot with flat base. A lid (part b), made from circular piece of gourd with small hole to one edge, has been sealed on with a dark resin-like substance that still adheres in part around rim of both pot and lid.
Large squat round pot has flared lip, hint of a neck, wider shoulder and walls that slope down to a rounded bottom. Beneath a highly polished finish, burnishing lines show up dark black against the light yellowish brown clay and there is a large black patch from the firing.
Breastplate of a Corpus Christi dancer's costume with shoulder straps and rope waist ties, made from pink, red and brown scraps of material. Sewn onto the front is a square of dark maroon material bordered with silver foil, in the centre of which is a three dimensional wooden lamb covered with a blanket, painted entirely in gold and adorned with tiny metal objects, strings of blue, green, silver and fake pearl beads, and gold foil.
Stone carving of a man struggling to pull his walrus kill over the ice.
Scene in a pottery workshop made of painted and highly glazed white clay in tones of black, blue and green. On a square platform, one figure kneads the clay, another carries the balls of clay in a bowl, another beats the clay on the floor with a bat. The potter sits behind a table throwing a pot on a pottery wheel. In one corner lies a small dog.
