Small, wooden good luck charm or "figa". A left hand clenched into a fist, with the thumb held between pointer and index finger, is carved into one end of a light coloured piece of wood. The other end is wrapped in bark and has a metal loop embedded in the base.
Small, round open basket with four diamond designs on the exterior sides in grass and red and black cherry bark. The rim is braided.
Ceremonial chicha (fermented beverage) container. Shallow, flat-bottomed, dark wood bowl shape has two squared knob handles. In the centre of the bowl stand two roughly carved oxen that are harnessed together.
Paper mache face mask with white gesso ? backing has fuchsia pink, bright yellow and black facial and headdress details painted onto a pink background. There are cut-outs at mouth, nostrils, eyes, centre of forehead and above the ears at top corners of the mask.
Corpus Christi face mask made of shaped and painted wire netting. Onto the pink wire are faintly painted eyes, brow and mouth in blue, black and red and around it is blue painted strip of metal. Strands of curly brown hair have been stitched to each of the upper corners.
Tungurahua-style Corpus Christi staff. Sword-like, light coloured wood stick, with undecorated handle and bright yellow, pink and purple stripes and splashes over the white paint the covers the rest of the surface, has three rectangular shaped birds bound to its pointed tip with metal wire. The triangular shaped shaft is notched along the length of the three edges.
Small drum with painted scenes of Corpus Christi celebrations. Light coloured skins are stretched around a circular-shaped twig frame, which are fitted over each end of the central wood piece, secured with another bent twig and bound with green plastic twine and leather fastenings that zigzag between the two. On one end is depicted a priest, an elaborately costumed dance figure and an official, on the other, a red spotted wolf and a yellow jaguar stand beside a rounded harp-like object.
Market scene made of painted and highly glazed white clay in tones of beige, blue, green, and brown. On a large square base a woman in a wide-brimmed hat stands behind her display of pottery. A baby is lying on the ground on her left side, with a younger child sitting on her right. At one corner stands a male customer wearing a backpack paying for the pot in his hand; at the other, a woman carrying a purse has her back to the scene.
Reddish wood monkey with long body and long curved tail. The figure stands on all fours, bent at the elbows and knees, and the tail curves along its back to its neck. The carving of eyes, nose and ears is very shallow.
