Striped and geometric patterned textile in alternating colours of white, yellow, red, pink, blue on a black ground. Two wide bands in black with yellow flowers alternating with white pointed shapes, one at numbered end, one near centre.
Rectangular shaped mirror with a blue lozenge patterned silk border followed stripes of yellow and line. The back is covered with a piece of red silk fabric embroidered with a blue bat, a pink flower, green leaves and pink and green fruit. The bottom has a blue endless knot with rounded sides with blue, green and purple royi-like pattern.
Silk embroidered, tasseled ornament consisting of three decorated areas. Hanging from a looped piece of knotted twine is a triangular shaped body with curved sides in the form of a ruyi-like design that is embroidered onto the surface in dark blue, blue and light blue on a dark orange background. Hanging from the middle is a light orange knot which is in between two light orange silk thread tassels. The middle section has a kidney-like shaped body with curved sides, detailed with dark blue, blue, light blue, cream and orange abstract design. Connected by another large knot is the bottom section which has an oval-like shaped body with curved sides similar to the ruyi pattern. Hanging from the bottom is a light orange knot, followed by two sets of silk threaded, light orange tassels. Embroidered onto the body is a colourful abstract design in dark orange, blue, light blue, dark blue and pink with fuchsia and black calligraphy in the centre. Both sides are identical.
Kidney shaped purse with two sets of maroon twine attached at the opening acting as a drawstring. Also attached at the opening is teal twine with metal knots connected to four, silk thread tassels; two light purple and two light brown. The purse has an embroidered body with a floral and geometric motif in light purple and dark blue on a blue background. Pictured in the centre are two red, orange and cream bats with a gold coloured Ji symbol behind. The top has a small rectangular opening made of black silk fabric pleated together to make a fan-like shape. Both sides are identical.
Silk fabric ornament consisting of a hexagonal shaped top with two yellow, dark orange, light orange and green striped fruit with a green leaf on a dark orange background. Connected at the bottom is a triangular shaped, large moth with a dark brown body, white wings, detailed with red, yellow and green dots. Hanging from either side are silk thread tassels; two purple and one light green. The ornament is outlined in light green and white triangular shaped fabric. Both sides are identical.
Large standing welcome figure on a circular base. The figure has a mask-like face with deep set eyes, low relief eyebrows, prominent cheek bones and sharp angular nose. The mouth is open, showing two rows of teeth. The torso is straight and legs slightly bent at knees. The arms are carved separately in two pieces and joined at shoulders and elbows with wooden pegs. The elbows are bent, hands in front holding a carved wooden ladle (part b). The ladle has a deep oval bowl and a handle less than half the length of the whole.
Pouch with a rounded body and a slightly narrower neck that flares outwards at the mouth. The pouch is finished with brown velvet at the edges, black velvet underneath a beaded floral pattern on both faces, and an off-white silk lining.
Beadwork on a wide band. The beadwork consists of a multicoloured floral pattern with three flowers, two buds, and two leaves on a white beaded background. The backing fabric is pink, with a red leaf pattern.
Band composed of beadwork with a pattern of multicoloured stepped chevrons on white. The chevrons are bordered by a row of green, orange and white triangles along the top and bottom edges. The band is lined with blue fabric and a strip of black elastic band joins the ends.
Case composed of two rectangles of cardboard covered in leather and folded against each other. One side of the case contains a mirror on the inside, and both sides are joined with a strip of red leather attached at the top centre of each. A loop is created at the centre of the leather strip by a band of red leather. The outside of the case is painted red with a roughly symmetrical geometric design in carbon ink and the edges of the design are emphasized with indented lines.
