Very long unpatterned black dyed textile with many seams.
White cotton scroll with painted female figure. The figure is holding a branch, dressed in blue, green, yellow and red. The scroll is attached to wooden dowels at each end. There is string tied around the centre of the upper dowel.
Long, rectangular, silk ribbon with an embroidered alternating pattern of a blue and fuchsia narcissus with a pink and fuchsia peony; each have green leafs. Behind the design is a blue embroidered swastika pattern on a metallic, gold thread ribbon.
Rectangular shaped band consisting of a central pink and white repeated zigzag design. The pattern is on a pink and white striped background with a white border on either side. The end sections are loose creating a threaded fringe. Band is tied together, around the middle, by a piece of yellow thread.
One-wick lamp with with an ovoid shape and made from pinkish clay with traces of white slip. The shoulder of the lamp is decorated with running vine branches and bunches of grapes in bas-relief. There is a larger filling hole at the centre of the body, which is surrounded by two raised rings, and a smaller wick hole at the narrow end.
Natural coloured apron with cross-stitching. The apron is rectangular with the upper corner sewn down and a natural coloured band of cotton across the top edge. Blue cotton ties are attached to the ends of the waistband. On the apron skirt are three vertical panels of geometric motifs in red, pink and black on natural coloured ground. The back is unlined.
Two-wick lamp with orange-brown slip. Circular basin-shaped body with an incised scallop design on the shoulder set off by a rim of four raised bands. Each nozzle is decorated with volute reliefs, the outer volutes in moulded horses' heads.
Hat with embroidery and tassels (part a). The hat is rectangular in shape, folded several times and stitched on the sides. One side is white fabric with a black vertical fabric band and two horizontal bands embroidered with colourful abstract motifs. The long upper tassels and short lower tassels of colourful thread are wrapped with black and white thread. The lower tassels also have silver plastic beads. The other side is fuchsia fabric with a large densely embroidered rectangular panel of abstract designs. There are two inner linings: one purple, the other printed fan motifs in red, orange and yellow on brown ground. Long thin piece of bamboo (part b) tucked into the folds of the hat.
Light green damask silk pants. The pants have a wide blue cotton waistband, centre gusset and wide straight pant legs. The bottom of the legs light green trim and stitching in black and white. The damask is woven with a large floral motif. The inner lining is blue cotton.
Large red wool cover with embroidery. The cover is rectangular with a scalloped top edge and corners. On the front top and bottom are embroidered butterfly, peony, lotus and prunus motifs in white, blue, green and gold on red ground. On the back, the red cover is folded over at the top with an embroidered abstract motif. The rest of the back is lined with blue cotton.
