Small flat rectangular silver plaque with bowed sides has a crouching profile eagle/human. Figure: large u shaped ear has a tapered downward extension, tip melds with body; large eye ovoid has ovoid pupil in pointed eyelid lines; curved open beak, back of lower mandible rests on body; body has a partial profile humanoid face with a large curled nostril attached to the upper lip band above large square teeth; split u forms in front of face and on lower left; bent leg next to body has a two-clawed foot; arm extension from base of u form in front of face terminates in a hand with an outward facing palm, bent elongated thumb touches shoulder, ovoid in palm, u form below. Crosshatched background.
Possibly meant to be a pendant? Similar in shape and style to other silver pendants by Tait, however this piece doesn't have a hanging/attachment mechanism.
