Description

Carved wooden frog painted green and white with its closed mouth outlined in red, and black eyes. Feet attached separately and moveable. Small hollow on underside. At throat is also a carved hollow, covered with a painted yellow and green cloth. A flat strip of metal emerges from the cavity.

History Of Use

This Towkit frog was used in ceremonies as part of the female war spirit dancer's magical tricks and devices.
