Description

AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Neck Finish: Lipping Tool Comments: Date code is embossed on the base. One brown glass medical bottle with round base and finish similar to bead and pharmaceutical finishes. Finish is similar to a pharmaceutical finish, but has a rounded outside surface, though not as round as bead finish. Post bottom mold. Seam molds include: circular post bottom mold seam on base and two vertical side seams extending up bottle to middle of neck. Empressed Maker's Mark on base reads: E.L. & CO 23 Dried substance present on inside and outside of bottle with some iridescence on outside. Bubbles present in glass. One small circular chip on side about 1/4 of the way up the body of the bottle and at the intersection of the cup bottom seam and vertical seam mold. Small crack beginning about 9/10 inch above base on side of bottle. J. Dougherty 03/10/2010
