Description

A small, stuffed cotton doll, clothed in a white, long-sleeved shirt, with attached full length skirt. The shirt has a pink and blue wool stitched design on the front, and purple cotton stitching around the sleeves. Pink cotton stitching runs up the back. The skirt features a vertical stripe design, of black, blue, purple, red, orange, yellow and green stripes, and is hemmed with white lace. The face features two dark brown circular eyes, a pale pink triangular shaped nose, and a red mouth, all of which are of another material, perhaps felt, that has been adhered to the cotton face. The doll has black wool for hair, styled in two braids, interwoven and tied off with pink and green ribbons. The doll has two buttons sewn on at either side of the hip under the skirt, a dark brown one on the proper right, and a smaller white one on the proper left.
