Folding paper hand fan with black lacquered ribs. One side of the fan is painted with floral designs in reds, purples, greens on either side of two women dressed in kimonos accompanied by a small boy; the back is decorated with flowers. Black lacquered ribs have been painted with silver designs. A pink tassel hangs from the bottom of the fan's handle.
