Pot2876/1

Small painted square pot with a circular opening at top. All four sides and upper edge are painted with abstract designsmimicking Northwest Coast ovoids and U shapes. Designs are in red, blue, black and white; clay is dark orange-brown. Pot previously broken in half and glued back together. Signed "Klee Wyck" on unpainted base.

Bowl2695/16

Small unglazed red clay bowl with a rectangular handle attached vertically along the exterior of the bowl. The sides taper into a tall, circular base. The rim has an alternating design of long black stripe followed by a short white stripe; inside surface of handle is detailed with black and white stripes of equal size. Centre of bowl depicts a black, line drawn face with white eyes. Underside has pencil signature 'Klee Wyck'.

A container with eagle features. The beak and feet protrude from the front; wings are at sides in relief; eyes and brows are in relief; feathers on belly are incised; tail protrudes at base. Canoe BailerA3398

Cedar bark canoe bailer with curved wooden handle. The outer bark has been removed from each end where the bark has been folded up and pleated. The ends have been secured to the carved wooden handle with wire and cotton, then covered with strips of bark. The only remaining outer bark is located on the inside surface of the bailer.

Rectangular mat with woven border. There are two bands around the mat forming a border. Each band consists of a strand of deep natural bark flanked by strands of dark, mud-dyed bark. The edges are finished by using a wide strip of cedar as the outer most strand and overcasting on a core of cedar.
