Round vase with foot ring, rounded shoulders, and slightly flared neck. Decoration is incised floral patterning on exterior that is darker due to thicker glaze. Glaze is all over except foot ring. Inked inscription on inside of foot ring of six Chinese characters; the word China is incised near edge. Part b is a wooden stand.
Two square-shaped batteries for lamps (N2.500a-b). The batteries are covered with black paper that has pink printing. A circular metal protrusion arises from the centre of each box, with a metal hook-like object protruding from the side.
Stylized dog with a bottom (part c) and a top (part d). Its head is on its left side and facing forward. Face is white with black hair and curly tendrils. The neck is adorned with a twisted gold-coloured rope decorated with an alternating pattern of three blue, and of three red dots outlined with white and tied at the back. The tail curls inward. Decorated with green, brown, blue, red, and white landscape scenes, cranes, and fans on a gold-coloured background. Has a box with two compartments, one of which is for its matching pair N2.728 a-b.
Part a is a carved wooden Bodhisattva figure painted gold which appears to have been glued onto a stand from a large shrine (N2.987 h) and no longer fits in its original box-like shrine. Part b is the small box-like shrine with doors on metal hinges that open outward to reveal gold-walled interior with a wooden platform at the bottom, only partially decorated at the front. At the top is a carved facade painted with a curvilinear flower pattern with one red, white and light blue flower. The outside of the box is painted brown in a wood-like pattern with red calligraphy running vertically on both doors. The right door has carved metalwork all along its edge and a carved metal handle. The edges of the box are rounded.
