Rectangular wooden bark beater with carved lines down the length, and a smooth cylindrical handle. Small piece of tape with collector number adhered to base of handle.

Large woven mat with fringe on two sides, formed from the unwoven ends. Red wool-like fibre is loosely woven through the stitching along the fringe on one side.

Long sash woven with a diagonal weave of strips of a grass-like material. The ends of the strips form a short fringe along the top and bottom edges. Strips which has been dyed red are woven in diagonal lines, as well as in a broken line, along both the top and bottom edges.

Grass skirt with a fringe composed of numerous long, thin strips of grass woven into the waistband. Two short cords of twisted fibre on each end. (A small piece of tape with the collector number is adhered to a tie.)

On each side, two small lengths of plaited cord attaches the net to the handle, and each is decorated by a carved bone(?) human figure (tiki). Large ear ornament (hakakai or ha'akai) made from whale tooth. The ornament consists of a large disk worn in front of the ear and a curved spur. The spur has a single hole through it, with two cords of twisted natural fibre inserted through it, and is adorned with a small human (tiki) figure.

Ear ornament (taiana) made from boar tusk. The ornament consists of a carved spur adorned with three small human figures (tiki). There is a small hole drilled through the spur. (This ornament may be missing a disk from the end?)
