Leggings2710/2 a-b

Pair of hand sewn fabric leggings with ties. Dark blue cloth has green satin backing and is embroidered in red, yellow and green. At the back of each legging, at the bottom of the slit, are two long ties of folded blue cloth and another long tie has been sewn at its mid-point onto the front near top centre.

Pair of hand sewn fabric tie-on wrist covers, or cuffs? Dark blue cotton cloth with green satin backing has darker green edging and embroidered decoration in red, yellow and pale green. At one side edge of each cuff is a long tie of folded blue cloth, and a loop of folded green cloth is sewn on to the back.

Tumpline2710/1

Elm bark tumpline, called tar in the Ainu language. Stiff front panel of woven brown and cream cotton has design of two arrows or rocket ships ? facing each other, with an X shape in the middle. Bark is braided, then twisted into long ties and knotted at the ends.
