Arrow. Metal projectile point is a long triangle in shape, thin with sharpened edges. It fits into a slot on the tip of the shaft that is tightened by a small amount of wrapped sinew. Sinew attaches three long, light brown feathers to the end of the shaft, which is painted red and has a notched tip.

Bow3194/27

Bow. Back is straight, with gentle curving of each limb. Belly is painted orange, back is covered with striped green snakeskin, and tips are covered in leather. Where limbs start to curve, bow is wrapped with strands of glass beads in pink, blue, green and yellow. The grip is covered with hide and cotton. String is made of twisted sinew, attached to each end of the bow by a tied off loop.

Bowl3194/18

Bowl is made from the burl growth of a tree. It is round, with low, uneven edges that flare widely, and a thick, rounded base. Burl has been smoothed and shows the grain of the wood. Small cracks cover both the interior and exterior in rough, linear patterns. A hole has been made in the side of the bowl, with a fine cotton rope looped through.

Tobacco Pouch3194/14

Miniature tobacco pouch. Bag is made of hide, rectangular in shape, with a long fringe at bottom. Front panel is covered with unrolled quills cut into small rectangles and dyed red, yellow or white. These are arranged into two opposing red triangles edged with yellow. White triangles emerge from the sides. At top are two fine handles made of white and green glass beads looped onto thread. The back of the pouch is undecorated.

Belt3194/13

Beaded belt. Belt is made of a thick, wide strip of stiff leather, heavily beaded on one side, undecorated on the other. On a white beaded background are sets of blue and orange diamond shapes accompanied by green rectangles each filled with a blue and orange cross. These sets are interspersed by areas of bare leather. Belt closure is a thin leather strip sewn to one end that fits a simple metal buckle at the other.

Vest3194/12

Beaded vest. Vest is made of leather, open at the front with two leather tie closures. The front is completely beaded in white edged in red, surrounding a blue vine running down each side carrying multicoloured flowers and foliage. Short, thick fringe hangs from the edges and bottom of the garment as well as in a strip down the centre back. To either side of the strip are two red beaded crosses, four in total, with lines of red beading along bottom and shoulder. The interior of the garment is lined with blue and cream gingham cotton.

Beaded shirt. Tunic has a high, rounded neck and long sleeves, with a wide fringe cut into the wrists and hem. The material is red stroud felt, with raw brown material along the hem. Heavy beaded panels cover the neck and shoulders front and back as well as the tops of the arms, with colour blocks in white and blue, and geometric patterns and crosses in red, white, yellow and green. A leather fringe hangs along the edges of the neck panel.

Miniature Moccasins3194/10 a-b

Miniature beaded moccasins. Shoes are made of a light coloured hide with a wide folded flap made of cream cotton and red wool strips sewn around the back of the heel. Flap ties in front, over the shoe’s long tongue. Toe is decorated with black beads set in a ‘T’ shape with a square of translucent beads at centre. Bottom of shoe 'b' has lines of fine stitching across surface.

Moccasin3194/8

Beaded moccasin. Shoe is made of hide, fully beaded on the toe and along sides of foot in lines in light blue glass beads with a slightly ‘v’ shaped portion of alternating areas of red, yellow and dark blue. Beading continues along the toe cap and on the two forks of the shoe’s tongue. A strip of red wool is attached around the ankle. Interior is unlined.

Moccasins3194/7 a-b

Beaded moccasins. Shoes are made of leather, fully beaded on the exterior with stars, foliage and other shapes, on a white background. Tall ankle is edged in red cotton. A short fringe of leather falls vertically down the back of the heel and the tongue is an undercoated flap of leather with fringe cut in its top. Interior is unlined, and bottom is hard, dark leather.
