Daoist album leaf. Painting depicting the episodic vestiges of the disciples of the Perfected Lord, ex post facto. Six male figures are depicted, each with two faint Chinese characters to the left of their head. From left to right the figures are: a man in light blue-green robes with a blue border and a small light blue-green head ornament; a man in blue and gold robes with a black border and a black headdress; a man in light pink robes with a blue border and a small brown head ornament; a man in light yellow robes with a black border; a small light yellow hair ornament, and a mace(?) with white hair attached to the top; and a man in green and gold robes with a blue border standing in profile. There is a red seal in the bottom left-hand corner. The painting is mounted on off-white damask-patterned silk on paper.
