Woven wall hanging depicting a hunting scene in horizontal orientation. Image shows a hooded human figure- dressed in a brown-red parka, beige pants and boots, with matching mittens- holding a spear towards a polar bear. The bear is facing away from the hunter, moving towards the left side of the hanging. Weaving ground is done in different shades of blue with a white line towards the bottom, dividing the ground and sky; back is lined with beige wool. Syllabic signature in bottom left corner. Tag with maker information attached to bottom left corner of weaving; patch with "3267" written on it is stitched to bottom right corner on back of weaving. Rod pocket sewn along top edge of hanging.

Pendant3639/2

Gold pendant brooch on a box chain with a spring ring clasp. Pendant brooch is thin, and shaped like a bird with formline design elements throughout. Bird has it's head turned to face backward, over it's body; tail feathers pointed down, and wings tucked along back. Round hinge and safety catch clasp across back of brooch, extending from bird's neck to wings. "KSAN- 18K. E.D.M." inscribed upside down along back of pendant brooch.

Bear3639/3

Open-backed, engraved silver bracelet with central design of a bear; background is cross-hatched. Bear's eyes are set in ovoids, split-U's form ears, and additional split-U's are on the cheeks. Teeth are bared and tongue is sticking out; large nose overtop mouth. Bear framed on either side with two abstract figures made up of formline design elements; figure closest to bear is upright, furthest is kneeling. Additional figures have large split-U shapes in between them. Interior is undecorated; "Bear by G H Cross. 1975" inscribed along interior.

Hanging3639/5 a-d

Weaving (part a) with hanging bar (parts b-d). Weaving has ground of natural white wool; design features a central rectangle consisting of columns of chevrons trimmed with triangles along the top and bottom edges. Red-brown, grey, and checked bands divide the columns. Chevrons are done in rows and alternate directions; done in black, white, and mint green. Top and bottom sides of rectangle are trimmed with white bands with red-brown triangles of varying sizes. Right side of box bordered with thin band of semi-circles and a striped line; left side has wavy lines with solid and dual-coloured diamonds. White, with red-brown, fringe along left, right and bottom edges; hanging pocket sewn on back, along top edge. Hanging bar (part b) consists of cylindrical rod with two animal heads on either end, to prevent weaving from sliding off (parts c-d). Animals are open-mouthed and their facial features are made up of formline design elements.

Brooch3639/4 a-b

Gold frog brooch (part a) that rests on a glass base (part b). Frog has large circular eyes, and wide mouth and nose; surface of body is textured. Front legs are curved outward from front of body; back legs are partially bent. Back right leg is held close to body and back left is pushed out; all webbed feet are fully extended. Ridges carved in relief along back of frog, depicting motion; similar ridges carved along feet, to depict webbing. Body is hollow; brooch has a round hinge and safety catch clasp on back, extending diagonally from the frog's front right leg to back left leg. Artist signature carved into chin of frog. Base made of thick rectangular, and light blue glass; top is frosted. Lily pad design carved into top right corner of holder, with ripples across entire surface; cut out for brooch in centre of lily pad.

Pencil drawing of an angled ovoid with U-shapes extending from the top right and bottom left. Ovoid has a central being design, consisting of formline design elements; done with solid shading, linear hatching, and cross-hatching. Top U-shape has a crouched human figure in it; figure is made up of formline design elements. Bottom U-shape has a fineline split, and horizontal oval design; done with solid shading, and linear hatching. Artist dedication, Dedication Piece To Thelma Cooke, title, and artist mark written in pencil along bottom edge of drawing. Paper is oval-shaped and has rough edges; attached to grey board.

Bracelet3639/1

Open-backed, engraved gold bracelet; background is cross-hatched. Central design consists of a circular face with a protruding nose and mouth; squat and elongated U-forms extend from all sides of face on bracelet band. All U-forms are filled with formline design elements. Face framed on either side with three additional figures made up of formline design elements; two in horizontal orientation, third in vertical. Largest figures are crouched on all fours and facing central design; smaller figures crouched on backs of large ones and facing sides of bracelet. Vertical figures have their heads tilted upward. Interior is undecorated; "EM- 20K" inscribed upside down along interior.
