Musk Ox3673/9

Ink and pencil crayon drawing on off-white rectangular paper, in portrait orientation; design done on upper half of page, leaving bottom of paper blank. Design consists of two musk oxen, facing away from one another, on a coloured patch of ground. Oxen have yellow horns, and black fur with brown-red highlights throughout; area around eyes, nostrils, and hooves are uncoloured. Ground is a thin, irregularly-shaped oval with small rocks and pebbles scattered throughout; done in light yellow and black. Brown-red, semi-circular hill in the background, with large black rocks scattered and stacked across it. Syllabics signature in bottom right corner of design, overtop coloured ground; number pencil inscriptions along bottom edge, and small white sticker with artist name, on back of drawing.

The Vision of a Man Cutting Snow BlocksNa1479

A human skeletal figure on the right side with his right arm dangling down with a knif in the hand while his left arm is outward so that his finger can point forward to the left side. There are two blue blocks. The skeletal bones cream-coloured, the rib cage is black, the face is yellow, and the top of the head is orange-pink. In the lower right corner, there is a small yellow image of a right pointing arrow emerging from a bulge pointing to pencilled syllabic. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads 'The vision of a man cutting snow blocks 18/70 1978 W. Noah'. In the lower right corner, there is a circular embossing. The print is on horizontally rectangular white paper.

Figure with the head of a wolf facing to the left side. The head is dark purple with a yellow area around the oval dark purple eye. The open mouth is lined with red, has yellow teeth and front fangs, and a tongue drooping out. Around the neck, from top to bottom, there is a green, a yellow, and a red horizontal band. The clothing is green outlined by dark burple and trimmed with yellow. In the upper left corner, there is a small yellow image of a right pointing arrow emerging from a bulge pointing to pencilled syllabic. Springtime Midnight Up in the North1749/30

Drawing of two ptarmigans against a green-blue sky and standing on a red-brown earth with green tufts of grass and stones. The ptarmigan facing to the right side is dark red and black while the ptarmigan bending over to the left side is beige and black. In black, across the bottom, there reads 'springtime midnight up in the North'. The drawing is on a horizontally rectangular, white paper piece. Paper is hinged onto foamcore with a burgundy and yellow front mat hinged over top.

The Skeletoned Caribou1462/11

Stonecut and stencil print. Coloured skeleton and outline of a caribou, facing left. The antlers are a flesh pink colour. The skeletal bones including the skull are yellow with red lines. The inside of the body is mostly red with some purple, grey, and green. Body has a thick outline of grey. In the lower right corner, there is a small yellow bow and arrow symbol pointing to a pencilled syllabic. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads 'The Skeletoned Caribou 17/35 1974 Wm. Noah'.
