Lawrence (Larry) Rosso was from the Babine Lake Nation. At an early age he married into the Kwakwaka'wakw culture and developed his art there. His carving was developed and influenced by Lloyd Wadhams and Doug Cranmer. He explored print as a medium and also focused alot of his energy on the production of bentwood boxes. At one time, Rosso owned and manged the Northwest Screencraft Enterprises Ltd., where he assisted other artists in the art of silkscreen. In later years he created large carved panels for the Vancouver art market; four of these on are display at YVR (Vancouver International Airport).
