Robert Jackson was born in 1948, in Port Edward, BC. He is from the Gitanmaax (Hazelton) band, Fireweed Clan. He trained at the school at 'Ksan and has studied the style and design of old Gitxsan pieces. Robert works in gold, silver and silkscreen and established the Sky Clan Arts Shop in Prince Rupert. His Gitxsan name is Nagwa.
