Ohara, Koson (祥邨; aka Shōson) was a Japanese painter and print designer from the late 19th to early 20th century.

Ohara, Koson (小原古邨) was a Japanese artist known for his shin-hanga prints (新版画, literally meaning “new prints”), especially of design with birds and flowers called kachō-ga (花鳥画). He used different artist names or gō (号): Ohara Koson (小原古邨), Ohara Shōson (小原祥邨) and Ohara Hōson (小原豊邨). His actual name was Ohara/Obara Matao (小原又雄). He is recognized as a master of twentieth-century printed kachō-ga (花鳥画) and with over 500 prints to his name, he was one of the most prolific kachō-ga artists.
