Okumura Masanobu (奥村政信; 1686 – March 13, 1764) was an artist and publisher from Japan. He was called Genpachi (源八) or Genpachiro (源八郎). His gō/gagō (号/雅号) or artist names include Hōgetsu-dō (芳月堂),Tanchō-sai (丹鳥斎),Bunkaku (文角), Baiō(梅翁), Shinmyō (親妙) and he often combined them as his artist name. He produced ukiyo-e woodblock prints, paintings and illustrations for books. He seems to have been self-taught and independently studied the Torii school and Hishikawa school style work. He produced his own unique style of bijin-ga (beauty pictures) and actor pictures. He is known for his urushi-e (漆絵; “lacquer pictures”) style work.
