Katsushika Taito (葛飾戴斗) or Katshika Taito II (二代葛飾戴斗) was a ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period. His dates are unknown, but he was active around 1810 –1853. His real name was Kondo Fumio (近藤文雄) and he was called Banemon (伴右衛門) and Kisaburō (喜三郎). He had many gō/gagō (号/雅号) or artist names, including Tōtei (洞庭), Tōteisha (洞庭舎), Beikasai (米華斎), Beika sanjin (米華山人), Beika Dojin (米華道人), Yatake (野竹), Shōzan (昇山), Genkan okina (閑観翁). After he became a pupil of Katsushika Hokusai (葛飾北斎; C.1760 –1840), he used Toerō Hokusen (斗円楼北泉) as his gō (artist name). Katsushika Hokusai gave him one of his gō (artist names), Taito (戴斗) in 1820 and he then used Katsushika Taito (葛飾戴斗) and Taito II as his artist name and also Genryūsai Taito (玄龍斎戴斗). (Hokusai used Taito as his artist name c. 1810–1820.)
