Henry David Martin was an Anglican bishop. Born in London, England and educated at St Paul's School, London and the University of Toronto, he was ordained in 1916. He began his career as a curate in St John, then in Toronto, before being appointed to Holy Trinity and St George's in Winnipeg. He was appointed Bishop of Saskatchewan in 1939, residing in Prince Albert. During this time he also made trips to the Northwest Territories, as the diocese territory included some Inuit settlements. He retired in 1959, at which point he and his wife Margaret (nee Martin) moved to Victoria, BC.
