Lim Hang-Taek (임항택; 林恒澤; 1947–2019) was a Korean ceramic artist. He is also known as Hangsan (恒山; 항산). In the mid 1970s, he quit his job as an art teacher and trained under Lee Jung-Ha (이정하; 李貞夏; 1929–1999). He established a ceramic research centre, Hangsan doye yeonguso (항산도예연구소; 恒山陶藝硏究所) in Icheon (이천), Gyeonggi Province (경기도) in 1977, and was dedicated to reviving the production of Joseon baekja or white porcelain from the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) with traditional style kilns. In 2004, he was awarded the title of master (명장) of ceramics by the Korean Master Hand Association, and in 2005, he received a patent for the manufacturing techniques of Joseon white porcelain and underglaze red pigment using copper called jinsa (진사; 辰砂). He also experimented with a gold-based red pigment called hwanggeum jinsa (황금진사) with Myongji University’s Graduate School of Industry Research Team.
