Artist and manufacturer in Montreal, Quebec. Source: Quimby p. 198. Charles Arnoldi was the most important of three brothers, all silversmiths. He was associated with the North West Company and the Hudson's Bay Company. Artist flourished dates are taken to be the first and last mention of the artist (according to M.W. Hamilton). Charles Arnoldi's son Michael, was in partnership with Robert Cruickshank between 1782 and 1789, and it is possible the mark CA also represents this partnership (Source: "Covenant Chain", page 41). There is some doubt as to whether this partnership did exist though. Artist flourished dates 1784-1810.

Died: 1817
