Dr. Choi worked as a full time-lecturer (professor) of Sorabol College in Korea. In 2001, she got a Ph.D in science at Seoul National University in Seoul. From 1998-2001, she was Lecturer in fashion design and oriental costumes in many colleges and universities. She was in residence at UBC as a visiting scholar from 2003-2005. In 2005, she worked at the Korean National Open University as a tutor of “IT period & Digital fashion”, and was a researcher in Sejong Fashion Research Institute. She is author of several publications related to oriental costumes, “Easy making-Korean costume”, ”History of Korean costumes”, “The transformational factors of Mongolian women’s costumes”.
