Dr. Anthony Shelton (Ph.D. Oxford), originally from Britain, was the Director of the UBC Museum of Anthropology from August 1, 2004 to June 30, 2021. Shelton also held posts at the British Museum Royal Pavilion Art Gallery and Museum, the Horniman Museum, London and at the University of Sussex, University College London and the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
