Media: Carving, wood. The carver, Haesemhliyawn of the Frog-Raven clan, is known only through his work, some seven poles carved between about 1840 and 1888. These are documented in Marius Barbeau's Totem Poles of the Gitksan, Upper Skeena River (Bulletin No. 61, National Museum of Canada, Ottawa, 1929).
