Description

Headdress made of cassowary feathers and plastic bags. The ends of the bundled long feathers, tightly wrapped with strips of black, white, green or pink plastic bags are bound together into a flat band with double braids of a variety of rope pieces that join together at the sides and continue as long braided ties, with more plastic strips intertwined. Most of the feathers (dark and some light) stick upwards from the main section of the band while light ones hang downwards from each end.
